The Empowerment
Foundation Donates Computers to Detroit
Entrepreneurship Institute Graduates
DETROIT --
June 2004 --
The
Empowerment Foundation donated 100 computers and other office
equipment to the Detroit Entrepreneurship Institute (DEI).
The
computers were provided to graduating DEI students who were starting
their own businesses and were in need of computer hardware, other
technology and office resources to enhance their operations.
The recipients completing the program and receiving the
donations were minority participants in the State of Michigan Welfare
to Work & Work First programs.
